"Sunset at The Serpentine Hyde Park London" by Christian Kerrigan, ,
I love walking through London. One of the last nights before the Coronavirus took over London and UK, I photographed this view of The Serpentine Hyde Park at sunset. After work I often meet my wife Zaza. She is also an architect. We regularly meet in different places in London (Sloane Square, Oxford Street, Soho) to have dinner, chat about our day and what's on our minds. While we walk home together, we discuss many things including architecture and buildings we see. Patrick Gwynne's café terrazzo terrace and seating overlooks the Serpentine. It is an ideal place to enjoy nature in the park while staying warm under the comfort of Gwynne's modern roof. In the distance over the treetops is architect Sir. Basil Spence Hyde Park Baracks residential tower.
