I was hired by the architect to shoot the Allan Jones Aquatic Center at the University of Tennessee. The most active and most interesting aspect of the building, with its multilevel diving board was the diving well. With divers practicing on may levels, divers preparing to dive, divers climbing in and out of the pool and interacting in the hot tub between dives, it allowed for an image which was dynamic with activity throughout the frame. Though this image may not be powerful socially or have cultural impact, I do feel it gives a great sense of what it feels to be in the space and what it is like for those who experience it.
