"parallelism" by Kiarash Kiany, ,
On a nice spring day and on the fifth-floor balcony of my favorite mall I looked at what lay in-front of me.
On a busy street in a business-oriented area of the city across the street was a residential building.
The old building had certain “characteristics” to it, among all the noise I could feel the calmness inside it, the two balconies so boldly in sight and so differently decorated, one with plants looking lively and vibrant, the other with patio furniture and the one beneath the two hardly noticeable.
I thought to my-self about how we come in contact with each-other like shooting stars at random and with astronomical odds and how these interactions may change our life or just be there and then and many others pass by just like parallel lines.
Architecture provides the frame-work for personalisation while allows us to communicate despite the parallelism between us.
